If you have not been able to think of a preferred destination to visit on holiday this year, then I can thoroughly recommend that you consider a variety of beautiful holiday parks in UK, especially in Cornwall.
Here I want to share my exclusive experience at staying on one campsite, Perran Springs, A Cornwall holiday park set in tranquil surrounding, nature, superb valley views and close by to some very impressive scenery of the nearby coastline. In particular the walk from Perranporth beach to St Agnes, spectacular!
Perran Springs Holiday Park has excellent amenities
One of the parks where I have received a great welcome is Perran Springs Holiday Park, Goonhavern, Truro, Cornwall, TR4 9QG. The days I have spent at this campsite are not only enjoyable but also memorable to me. I enjoy country walks, so the luscious, green countryside valley has given me satisfaction to a great extent. They accept all tourists who come with their family and even allow pets. So, I have enjoyed an ideal holiday while relaxing and exploring the place. The park is situated a few miles away from golden sands of Perranporth Beach, which is a long beach with great waves for surfing, or general playing around in the sea. Again another holiday resort, Newquay is also close to Perran Springs, about a 10 minute car journey, known worldwide for its surf competitions at Fistral Beach, and local music festivals held each year along the nearby coastline, such as Watergate bay.
I spent most of the holiday fishing in the lakes at Perran Springs. Here, you can get a huge variety of fish, from carp, tench, perch and bream, all good sizes and the carp in particular are in great condition and put up an excellent fight, so make sure you bring the tackle to land the 20lb+ fish. If not, don’t worry as the onsite tackle shop at the campsite has a good selection of rods and reels, all at great prices! Children will also never feel bored or lonely as they can get the chance to play in the playground, walk around the recreation areas, go nature spotting on the campsites nature trail or play football in the field which is allocated for ball games.
The camping area is also very spacious. While I was residing there, I could purchase my necessary breakfast, confectionery, and drink drinks along with ices, in the holiday park shop. Besides which, other touring essentials are also provided in this park.
The coastline in Cornwall
If you are fond of visiting near the beach area, then there is more than one beach to visit. Each of these beaches are unique and beautiful, and many of them hold Blue Flag awards due to the cleanliness. Though a few of these beaches do not allow pets on certain months of the year, there are others that welcome your pet all year around.
Know about other caravan sites
Besides Perran Springs Holiday Park, I have walked around other caravan sites like Bossiney Bay, which is just 2 minutes away from striking sandy bay. It is really a perfect area to look at the North Cornwall seashore and offers a sheltered ambiance best for sunbathing.
Hendra Holiday Park, in Cornwall. This is located adjacent to Newquay and the spectacular beaches of this area and has something for every tourist such as an indoor swimming pool, a speedy ride, toddler’s pool as well as one outdoor heated pool
You can also find Praa Sands that is located only 5 minutes away from best sandy beaches in Cornwall. If you are visiting here with your spouse or families, then this is the perfect area. Here also, you can have entertainment through its golf course, gym, restaurant and many more.
However, my favourite out of all these is Perran Springs Holiday Park, due to the clean facilities, great fishing lakes and welcoming and friendly greeting you receive from the owners.
